Parallel port:
==============

APCComm is designed to work with a LapLink cable a.k.a parallel
null-modem cable. There are different versions of this cable
available but usually a cable named "LapLink" should work. However,
remember that using the wrong cable CAN damage both computers. So
better check whether the cable matches the following scheme:

 DB-25 Male (Amiga) | DB-25 Male (PC)
--------------------+----------------
          Pin 2     |     Pin 15
          Pin 3     |     Pin 13
          Pin 4     |     Pin 12
          Pin 5     |     Pin 10
          Pin 6     |     Pin 11
         Pin 10     |     Pin 5
         Pin 11     |     Pin 6
         Pin 12     |     Pin 4
         Pin 13     |     Pin 3
         Pin 15     |     Pin 2
         Pin 24     |     Pin 24
         Pin 25     |     Pin 25
         Shield     |     Shield

This is the same scheme used for the PC2Am package which connects
an amiga with a PC running DOS. So if the cable works with PC2Am
it should work with APCComm.

But: USE THIS SOFTWARE AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Serial port:
============

For serial connection, you need a serial null-modem cable
(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Null_modem) with all 7/8 wire correctly
connected.
